, Sunbi,鮮卑, Xianbei
魏(BuKwy) of Sunbi(Xianbei)is one of three dynasties in 'The Romance of Three Kingdoms' that is known to be Han(Huaxia)Chinese fantasy. Actually however, the story doesn't have anything to do with Han-chinese, the ruling ethnic of modern China . The story is about Yi dynasties and they are we Koreans that deserve to celebrate the sotry.
Sunbi also built Sui dynasty and Tang dynasty, which had most recent and powerful influence on Chinese tradition and culture. Especially, a Topknot for married men is traditional Yi style. According to Korean historians including Korean historian living in China as Chinese nationality, say that a Topknot and a Bluespot on babies' buttocks are the most prominent evidences to identify KOREAN blood.
I am sure, under rule of Sunbi, Han chinese started to have Topknot as their traditional hair style for married men.
A Topknot and a braid are thousands of year old Korean tradition.

Secret Garden is an Irish-Norwegian duo playing New Instrumental Music, also understood by some as Neo-classical music.
It features the Irish violinist Fionnuala Sherry and the Norwegian composer/pianist Rolf Lvland. Secret Garden has sold over 3 million albums and won the Eurovision Song Contest for Norway's second time in 1995 with the composition Nocturne. It was the first and only time to date that a predominantly instrumental piece has won the Eurovision Song Contest, although a few Norwegian language lyrics, written by screenwriter Petter Skavlan, were included to ensure that the entry adhered to the contest's rules. Norwegian singer Gunnhild Tvinnereim sang the song in the Eurovision Song Contest, but is actually not a member of the group. Ten years earlier Rolf Lvland also co-wrote the song "La det swinge" (Let it swing) that secured Norway its first Eurovision Song Contest victory in 1985.
Their success at Eurovision spearheaded the success of their first album Songs from a Secret Garden. It sold a million copies around the world going platinum in Norway and Korea, gold in Ireland, Hong Kong and New Zealand and spending two years in the Billboard New Age charts in 1996 and 1997. Barbra Streisand adapted "Heartstrings" from this album as the song "I've Dreamed Of You" on her A Love Like Ours album. She also used "Heartstrings" in her wedding to James Brolin.
The album White Stones followed in 1997 also making the top ten on Billboard New Age charts. Dawn of a New Century, again with lyrics by Petter Skavlan, in 1999, Dreamcatcher in 2001 and Once In a Red Moon also enjoyed success around the world including reaching top ten on the Billboard.
Their most famous song "You Raise Me Up", performed by Brian Kennedy has been recorded by more than a hundred other artists including Josh Groban, Russell Watson, Westlife, Sissel, Becky Taylor, Celtic Woman, LENA PARK and Il Divo. This song is very similar in rhythm and harmony to the Irish Folk song "Danny Boy" except for the second half of the phrase.
Secret Garden has released a Dreamcatcher: Best Of album for its tour through Australia and New Zealand in 2004. It reached the top of the Australian New Age charts and the ARIA top 50 album charts.
THIS OLD CHURCH -- An Original Song
Copyright 2008 Words and Music by Joe C. Ellis
This old church don't look like much I know,
But it stood for years through the wind and rain and snow.
Great Grandpa help lay the stones many years ago,
This old church don't look like much I know.
This old church sent boys to Uncle Sam,
Who proudly fought for the freedom of this land
There're graves out back from both World Wars, Korea, and Viet Nam.
This old church sent boys to Uncle Sam.
Chorus
This is where I first believed.
This is where the Holy Ghost got a hold of me.
In this modern day most have gone another way,
But this old church is where I want to be.
Instrumental interlude
This old church gave comfort through the years.
Here many hearts found courage to face their fears.
When Daddy died, Momma came here to cry her tears.
This old church gave comfort through the years.
This old church still answers to the call,
To preach the word of God to one and all.
They may have kicked God out of school,
Tore the commandments off the wall,
But this old church still answers to the call.
Repeat chorus
added to the end of song:
In a world of sin and wrong,
This old church still stands strong.
This old church is where I want to be.
This song is from the 1964 Album, "Peter La Farge Sings Women Blues", one of only two La Farge Albums I possess. I do not have access to my collection at present and can not find the lyrics on the Internet, so I'm not sure if my rendition is the complete song.
As this is my first La Farge cover I'll give a bit of background information, courtesy of Wikipedia:
Peter La Farge (1931-1965) was part of the folk scene in New York in the 1950s and 60s. He was of Native American descent and raised on a ranch in Fountain, Colarado, by his mother. He worked as a rodeo rider and singer, eventually working with Big Bill Broonzy, Josh White and Cisco Houston, who acted as his mentor. After serving in the US Navy in Korea he moved to New York, where he became a central figure in the folk movement, along with Dylan, Rambling Jack Elliott, Dave Van Ronk and Pete Seeger. His most famous song, "The Ballad of Ira Hayes" tells of a Pima Indian who was one of the five Marines who raised the US flag on Iwa Jima, but who returned home to prejudice and alcoholism. Johnny Cash covered the song in 1964 and it reached number 3 on the Billboard country music chart.
In October,1965, Peter La Farge was found dead in his apartment, supposedly from a stroke, possibly from an overdose, though according to Liam Clancy, who lived next door, it was suicide by slitting his wrists. Fortunately for us, his music lives on.
Peter was not the first notable member of his family. His father, Oliver La Farge, won the Pulitzer Prize for his 1929 book "Laughing Boy", a love story set in the Navajo Nation, and the first Native American novel to receive this honor.
Korean indie folk-pop
*from 2002 at the 'Funny Day Funky Day' show.
Unfortunately, i don't know the song title.. It sounds like the kind of music she was making back in 2001. But, it might be a cover. If anyone knows the name of this song, please let me know :)
ganggangsullae music to the traditional korean circle dance. yes, I know I'm pathetic recording off of internet radio, but as an english speaker, it's hard to find these things!
From the 2008 Jinhae cherry blossom festival, a display of traditional Korean drumming (presumably by the Navy, since everything else in that show was). This was immediately followed by some kind of weird hip-hop routine.
More on Ramli Abu Hassan's Video Journey-Thoughts of Ramli Abu Hassan.
This video shows my car radio playing a favourite Japanese song on Radio ERA in Malaysia.
Nowadays, the influx of dramas, movies and music/songs of American,British,Japanese,Korean,Hong Kong,Taiwanese,Bollywood,Mexican,Filipino,Thai Indonesian and not forgeting neighbours Singapore and Brunei are plenty on Malaysian Entertainment Scene.Maybe it is the same happening all over the world and it is up to the listeners or viewers to choose or pick their favourites artists or singers etc..
Maybe also that's the reason why young people wants to be a recording artist or actor due to the huge potential of earning "millions of bucks" in just a short time as compared to being an engineer, doctor or teacher.
Will the World Be a Better Place with lots of attention or talents developed in this Entertainment Sector or should we now limit their quantity and shift our focus to the traditional careers as professionals like heart surgeons, psychologists, marine engineer, quantity surveyor, chartered accountant,lawyers,nurses,etc...
If everyone is in search of "lots of money"then maybe there will be more positions as entertainment celebrities and not forgetting sports personalities like Tiger Wood,Roger Federer,Nicole David,Kimi Raikonnen and others.
Let's make the World a Better Place with People That Enrich and Safeguard the World's Population through their knowledge, sacrifice and innovations."
